It looks like The Electric Era is finally ready for the challenge.
There were a few hurdles to get the live act ready for the long road to Europe. We set the time frame to coincide with the c/o pop citywide music festival in Cologne/Germany in June 2012. However, our drummer wasn't able to join us.
So the difficult process of finding a replacement started. In a three-piece, if one piece goes, things get pretty upset. Imagine a stool with three legs. Then imagine staying seated after one leg has broken off. Not easy! We needed to find a third piece that's fit to carry some weight.
And we found it... well, her. As of this week, Anna joins Leal and Karsten with a potent amount of energy and a beautiful Gretsch drum kit. We already had two jams with her over Christmas, and boy, did we have fun.
So from now on, it'll be practice, practice, practice, so we can get the set up and running, and start gigging again. The first time you will see Anna in action, is when we hit the stage again at the Juice Bar on 29 February.
Hope you can all make it.
Heaps of love to Brignall who will play his last gig with us on 25 February at a private party. He will stay involved though, and will act as our live producer for a while to come.
Love and peace
The Electric Era
